 Malabar Neem / Melia Dubia / Konda Vepa / Hebbevu / Malai Vembu is one of the Fast Growing Plant Species which is having various specialties in the wood. It can be use as BIO-MASS (Bio Fuel / Firewood) or can be use as TIMBER in making plywood manufacturing. 

Value of the Wood increases by its age. One can take harvest from 2nd year onwards. Once you cut down leaving its main stem 1 ft above the ground level, new shoots will grow again and the harvest will be ready again in next two years. Cost for any Biomass at present is Rs.3000/MT. You may get more in coming days.

One can also take harvest the plants in 10/12 years time frame where the cultivator will get money in Cu.Ft. basis. Present market price per cubic feet wood is about Rs.400/- and It would be more in coming years.
